Candy Amethyst 10mm Ring

Sometimes the simplest of shapes can be the most pleasing. The Candy rings are simplicity itself and are drawn from the earliest methods of holding a stone on a ring but with a modern twist. The curved D section plain gold band is topped with just four substantial but elegant claws that securely hold their semi-precious coloured stone to the band. The cabochon stones used in this series are known as buff tops as they are cut by expert stone polishers with a curved cabochon top and a fully faceted under half which combines the strong colours resulting from the cabochon topping but with a scintillation and brightness that you can usually only see in a faceted stone.
